Opinions on my new design

I just thought I'd see what your opinions are on a design I've come up with. It's for a web stats program that I'm making for my computing coursework. It's not functional yet, this is just the layout that I'm getting right. Any feedback is appreciated.

Looks nice, but don't forget that you get marked on your paper work and what you can print out, so it doesn't matter if your solution doesn't even work just so long as it appears to do so in the paper work.

Yeah, but I'll be using this as a portfolio piece to help me get a job too, so I really do want it to work Oh yeah, and I want to actually use it to look at stats
