Very little IIRC. Just Bitlocker in Ultimate, I think. Go for Pro, unless you can get Ultimate cheaper.

Bitlocker, multi language support. Really they should have stuffed it all in Professional..

    Re: Windows 7 Professional/ Ultimate

Multilanguage is a pain - you can't (legally) install language packs on Pro which is a real issue for business (and some users otherwise). Enterprise has them but can't be shipped..

Try getting someone to quote for enterprise.
5 attempts so far. 3 quotes recieved for Professional and 2 for ultimate
Is it really that hard to understand?

I don't get why you'd struggle to get a quote for it - enterprise is just ultimate with volume licensing instead of single licensing so it's how many copies you want that's the issue.

The people I am asking for the quotes from are muppets! They don't understand the differences.

If Win 7 Enterprise is anything like Vista enterprise then you can't get it easily though normal open licence agreements. You need to be purchasing >250 licences and get it under a "Select Agreement"

But, I haven't read up on Win 7 licencing just yet so it might not be the same!

Basically home premium for most people, professional if you want to connect to a domain and ultimate if you want laptop encryption bit locker etc.
