Windows Live Messenger Problem

I can't drag the conversation window by clicking between the display pictures anymore, I must use the bar at the top.. help?!

This is pretty easy to solve.

When you want to move the conversation window, click and drag on the top bar...

i'm using the same build as you and it lets me drag the window using the method you've mentioned.. tried restarting or something as simple as that?

I have tried.. :/ does windows 7 64bit rc have anything to do with it?

Strange problem indeed.. I might try a complete reinstall later..

Just tried the same thing (same build) and can't click and drag the window when between the two pictures/avatars. Highlighting the area brings up the line and arrow, which when clicked hides the avatars/pictures.

Reinstall didn't help.

Disabling desktop composition in the shortcut options makes it work again but makes the desktop ugly when it's running...

Edit: since I discovered the problem is with aero.. I knew what to look for:

You could try running it in win2000 compatibility mode.

Well that was my fix to avoid the forced update to the latest version of MSN, as I dislike the current interface...
