Office 2010 beta

Anyone running it?

Anyone planning on installing it?

I got an email from TechNet telling me it was available this morning. So I downloaded it and am installing now.

Actually comes in 32bit and 64bit flavours for a change. Will be good not to have the several hundred meg of updates to download and install on a clean system to compliment a fresh windows 7 install

If you are in the US, there is also a beta of Windows Mobile Office 2010 available on the Marketplace.

the screen that comes up to (presumably) download the software does nothing. there's a small green circle in the middle made up of a series of dots that just keeps spinning round.
anyone got the link that Rasta posted to work?

Really? Hmmmm the only bit with things spinning is when its waiting for some Java app to initilise (I think its the MS download manager) so how up to date is your Java?

Did you get to the point where it asks you what language you want, and if you want 32 or 64 bit?

yes - it opens up a secure page, then you need to login with your windows live id thing. then download, install and enjoy.

i don't have java installed. maybe i should start there. i never actually need java so i don't bother with it.

Are you using IE?

All MS pages are built to be compatible with IE, I don't think MS do any Opera, FF or Chrome testing
