    Here's an update on the lawsuit! Looks like it's a settlement, so therefore nothing legally found "illegal".

    Looks like Psystar will also be pushing their program that allows people to install Mac OS X on a standard PC...because it was never mentioned in the lawsuit.

    It will be interesting to see the outcome of the EFI case - as EFI is a standard boot method architecture. (Although AFAIK Apple are the only mfr using it for the domestic/desktop market - at the moment).

    However since Pystar are effectively bankrupt, it may come to nothing anyway.

    Being bankrupt doesn't mean a company still can't exist and sell products. I worked for a company that went through a bankruptcy. No employee lost their jobs and they still sold product during the entire period before coming out of bankruptcy. The only major change was that they went from a public company that fed their own pockets to a private company owned by a bank.
