    Saving passwords in Firefox

I really like the password manager in Firefox - saves an awful lot of time and hassle, but I can't make it remember a login for me for a site I use regularly several times a day - is there any way of forcing it to save the details? I've tried clearing private data, deleting the previously saved password (I had 2 entries for the site and it was getting confused) and deleting any cookies/cache that were retained for that site, and it won't ask me if I want to remember the password or not. Any ideas?

any chance that the site in question is using software that deliberately WONT remember your password?

    My work use them.

it's let me remember the password previously and it's not changed since then. Other sites connected to it make the PM wake up too. It's just being odd.

Is it possible you clicked "Never" when it asked you to save the password?

Is it secure (HTTPS)? I don't think I ever get prompted for passwords on websites that use that. My bank website is an example.

ahhhhh.. they've been sneaky and made it a secure site without telling anyone, which is why it doesn't work. Sorry for being a numpty.
