File access denied in Win 7 transferring files from an external drive

I'm transferring a bunch of image files from an external drive onto my new Win 7-hosting main drive. Every time I transfer a batch, I get a message saying I need to provide admin access. All I have to do is click continue, but it's getting pretty annoying. How can I turn this off?

Change ownership of the drive (and any subfolders) to you. If you'll be using it on another machine, changing ownership to one of the many static SIDs will probably be beneficial.

According to the security properties, I already have full ownership.

Whereabouts in the Win 7 filesystem are you trying to save them? If you're copying them into your own filespace or one of the shared folders you shouldn't have any problems...
