XP deleting W7 restore points

Hi,
I am triple booting XP, Vista and W7 64bit and have come across a problem with XP deleting my restore point on W7. I recall having a similar problem with XP doing the same with Vista, but somehow managed to stop it. I can't remember how I did it, can anyone else out there help me? I have noticed that Vista isn't shown in ' My Computer', it just says Local Disc C, and I cannot read it. I need this to happen to my W7 drive, as I can access it through XP at the moment. Any help gratefully received.

Managed to find out how to stop this by modifying registry, there is an article here for anyone with a similar problem :-
