    Symantec - Messed up again!

    http://www.theregister.co.uk/2010/01...tec_y2k10_bug/

Symantec have issued a statement, which states that: "An issue has been identified in the Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager (SEPM) server whereby all types of SEP definition content [AV/AS, IPS] with a date greater than December 31, 2009 11:59pm are considered to be 'out of date'."
I have had nothing but trouble with this software since day one. I have had to write my own software to help roll it out!

I'm just going to stick my head in the sand , really don't want to be involved in it...

We are currently on SAV 10 at work, but are about to move to SEP. We use Altiris though so it has a nice roll out intergration component which works quite well. How come you had to write your own? What method did you use?
