Argh!
For some reason, ahead Nero has decided not to work anymore. When I try to get in, it displays "Detecting SCSI/IDE devices" (or something like that) and then freezes, so I have to reboot. When I get rid of the devices on the Secondary IDE cable and stick one optical drive as Primary Master, it gets into Nero fine. This makes me think that the motherboard has broken, since both Nero and the CD-RW drive worked fine before.
When I tried reinstalling Nero, it now does the same with the added feature of a thick green line going across the screen.
However, I don't actually ever remember using the CD-RW drive since I got my nice not-so-new-anymore NF7-S, so could it be a conflict between the NF7-S and Nero/CD-RW drive?
My IDE setup is as follows:
Primary Master: Main HDD
Primary Slave: Storage HDD
Secondary Master: CD Drive
Secondary Slave: CD-RW Drive (Artec WRA-WA48 according to Control Panel)
Any ideas as to how to fix it or what's causing the problem?
Thanks
Mike
P.S. Everything else I try with the CD drives seem to work fine.
Edit: I'm using V5.572 of Nero.
