Malware Bytes scanning seperate user areas

Got a computer here thats infected with one of those rogueware viruses. Some user accounts instead of "explorer" starting up after login, in the registry this has been replaced with the rogue "anti-virus" software. other user areas login fine. When i scan with Malware Bytes Anti-Malware (MBAM) in a working user area it found 1000 infections. On the 2nd scan it found none.

So I logged into one of the previously wrecked user areas, explorer loaded up fine. Scanned with MBAM and it found a further 350! In the other 2 user areas it found infections as well (albiet less).

My question is, is there anyway to scan all user areas at once? Should I be booting up in safe mode and logging in with the admin account or something like that? Would save a lot of time with not having to log in, scan, log out, repeat for each user area!

    much thanks,

    Dan Gent

You've answered your own question. Although a full scan in MBAM in any profile should cover all the others.

I'd - boot to safe mode, login as main administrator, run a full system scan from MBAM. Sorted
