    *nix chaps

    Need a bit of help.

    Got a SCO openserver 5.0.7 box on the network that I want to connect to the internet.
    Its on a static IP 192.168.100.1

    I cant see where to give it the gateway address.

    I've tried adding
    gateway=192.168.100.254
    to the /etc/tcp file but that didnt work.

    Neither did route add 192.168.100.254

    I know next to feck all about *nix and even after having a look in the network config in the GUI I couldnt find something that looked anything like what I was after..

    Re: *nix chaps

    Well my typing in the wrong thing would explain it not working, I'll go try it now...

    Am I right in presuming that is only a temp until reboot thing?

    Re: *nix chaps

    Right, It appears to be working now, looks like it was the default bit missing..

    Just need to find the bit to make it permanant.
