Grrrrrrrrr my 2nd hard drive which help Music and Vid died, have a new hard drive in place and everything is restored. However as music and video had the locations changed i now no longer have the default icons in my doc's anyone know how to recreate them?

Maybe already done, but have you tried the 'Personalize' settings?
Right-click on an empty space on the desktop, select Personalize, then select Change Desktop Icons at the upper left-hand corner. Uncheck and apply, then re-do and check and apply again.
Also, you could try right-clicking on the shortcut and then going through the Properties page and the Change Icon section.

You mean it changed the physical location of them?
If that's the case you should be able to correct the entries at
HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Microsoft/Windows/CurrentVersion/Explorer/Shell Folders
