Looking for Hd DVD player software for pc

as the title says really i have hooked my xbox 360 hd dvd drive up to my pc now i have sold the XBOX does anyone know of a dvd player that has hd dvd player functions ideally a free one or at least one with a free trial so i can my HD movies via the pc

doesn't seem to work mate says insert a valid disc and try again

EDIT: the platinum version does but wont lemme download sound in the trial so picture but no sound and $90

sorry, I thought Gold could do HD disks.

There really isn't much else. PowerDVD can be hacked to allow HD-DVDs, but that's a pain in the neck, or you could find an old version.

i heard powerdvd 7 ultra does it but not been able to find a copy

PowerDVD definitely does it, because it came shipped with my HD-DVD Blu-Ray combo drive.

the problem is they removed hd dvd support from 8 onwards which is a bummer.

If its gonna cost me £50-60 for software i will just look about on ebay for a standalone hd dvd player and plug it up to the telly.
