    On-screen keyboard options? (XP)

I need an on-screen keyboard for a mod I'm doing, the one that comes with XP is tiny & I'm looking at something that will fit the width of the screen & be able to open/close quickly & is also free.

I'm thinking something along the lines of the iPhone keyboard ie big buttons.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks,

    Rob

Can you not resize the XP one? (i have no idea)

The windows 7 one is nice though...

And i would have though Win7 would be the better way to go for touchscreen capabilities...

It doesnt seem to resize, looks awful too! The win7 one is the style I'm after but it's on a low powered laptop which I cant put 7 on
Oh and i'm not going touchscreen (yet) will be a pain but isnt going to be used a huge amount for typing!

Having had a quick play, this keyboard from comfort software (you want "comfort on-screen keyboard lite") seems pretty good. It's not resizable, but there's a variety of different styles of keyboard available (right click on the top bar of the window to get the menu) and lots of options to play with.

The Lite version has a 30 day shareware trial, but after that it's a pay up product. Should give you more chance to find an alternative though. If there's nothing good out there already I might have to write one

    I'll get writing then

p.s. Don't hold your breath - I'm still meant to be working on an image cataloging program in Java for a mate that I started during my MSc... that was, oooh, 4 year ago?
