    Installing Windows R2 2008

    Hey,

Need some help. Basically, i need to install Server 2008 R2 on a mates PC. I made my USB 8GB bootable and burnt it to that. Then booted it in my PC to make sure it worked, perfect. Booted it with his, set USB-HDD to first device, and after POST it says "Invalid Partition Table".

Now, it worked absolutely fine on my PC, but it wont boot on his.

So, i put his Hard-Drive in my PC and booted with the USB, fine. Installed R2 and then shutdown the OS and put the Hard-Drive back in his PC, it starts loading Windows and blue screens.

Having serious trouble burning the Server2008R2.img to any disc. So thats out of the question.

I've used the same USB and .img to install R2 on my Media-Center and it works perfect. So, im thinking its an error with his Motherboard.

    Any ideas why?

    Thanks

What's this ".img"? Images come from MS as a regular .iso, not .img.

Some PCs need a few things disabling in the BIOS for USB-boot to work, for example USB2, legacy USB etc.
