Lightbulb Rip flash to video / mp3 from html / stm etc

Can't seem to find a good ripper for stm sites. need a video and some audion from the BBC site.

Any apps i've tried don't work or need to be registered for vids over 2 minutes.

Anyone got a good all in one app for ripping vids, audio etc from all sites?

    Cheers!!!

The beeb implemented some new DRM on all their stuff within the past couple of weeks. It's likely why you can't access the files.

    Very dodgy.

The BBC do give fairly broad permission where stuff is "for your own personal, non-commercial use" .... but, the do not have and cannot confer such rights where they belong to third parties, and from the credits, it's pretty clear some of the content of that video do.

I'd say (as a non-lawyer) that at the very least, it's pretty dubious.

In general, with copyright, a pretty good assumption is that unless you have explicit permission to do something, you don't have permission to do it, and certainly, you don't grant permission by putting the item on the net.
