Hi
Everytime I restart my laptop or start it up after shutting it down I get the active desktop recovery thing coming up. I've never experienced this in XP before and I'm not sure of what to do. I don't particularly care about the active desktop, my background is jsut plain black with no icons anyway. Can anyone tell me how to fix/turn off the active desktop, preferably without re-installing windows.
Any help appreciated
Falcon

If i remeber correctly there used to be a Run -> "command" that uninstalled it for ME (Much like the one that gets rid of Windows Messenger in XP) I was wondering if thats still around in xp and if anyone knows what it is.
