    Alternative to Zone Alarm

Alternative to Zone Alarm, i've been very pleased with zone alarm, but have found the latest version has some rather nasty touches to it, I've got an internal network and last night after upgrading to the new version of zone alarm, i've got problems connecting to my internal network.

After playing about and trying to fix it, zone alarm died, thought it died properly, it had no process running in win2k task manager. so i thought no problem i could access my other computer now. Not so - for whatever reason even after it had died it just locked everything out.

looking for another software firewall anyone got any suggestions.

    Thanks
    TiG

    p.s Running win2k sp4, on a 56k modem.
