Disable 'This program may not have installed correctly' dialogue?

Does anyone know to stop this annoying dialogue from popping up all the time - if something didn't install properly I think I'd know and this pops up all the time when I use 'portable' applications i.e. ones that aren't installed so Windows must think they're all installers or something.
