    The following boot-start or system-start driver(s) failed to load: StarPortLite

    as the title, i get this in the event viewer

    The following boot-start or system-start driver(s) failed to load: StarPortLite

    the thing is the file no longer exists, i cannot find a service with its name using services or hijack this, no entry in msconfig, im a little stumped !

    how do i tell windows 7 to ignore this file ?

    answer was to delete every starportlite entry in regedit

    IIRC starport was some kind of DRM software.
