will mandrake 10.0 run on a 200mmx?
hi i have set up an old machine,with crappy 1 or 2mb graphicslol, its a 200mmx
pentium 1. with 32mb ram.edo probs. also it has a 2gb hdd. will it run? i know the set up runs in 800x600 which i can handle (montior on machine only does 640x480

It might _just_ run on that, but i doubt it. I would say go for something like an older version of Slackware (8.0 should do it) or Debian Woody. Actually, give VectorLinux a try, that is aimed at old(er) hardware, and should run on that box!

Slackware! I got version 4 going on a 486 a few months back. Oh, it was so much fun installing off 20 floppy disks! Even better was finding a driver for the CD-ROM that ran off the sound card.
