Hi peops. I’ve not used Windows 98 for ages so I would like to check: is it possible to upgrade Windows 98 to Windows 98 Second Edition and is the only to do it using a Windows 98 SE CD?
Thanks.

Yeah - you can't uprade 98 to 98SE with an ME disk![]()

Lol, fortunately I’m not unlucky enough to be cursed with an ME disc.Originally Posted by unrealrocks

it will aloow you to upgrade in a way, but as hex says you need the upgrade cd, if you do it from the OEM 98se cd it will say its upgrading but it really means, lets format your HD and put 98se on it. you get the same result but obviously if you are wanting to upgrade in order to keep current settings, I am sure that the 98se cd will over write these.
I am guessing my 98SE CD came with an old computer so it is probably OEM, but it there anyway to check on the CD/Manual if it is OEM or upgrade?
