Opinions wanted on my site (+ a little help!)

    Hi folks,

I've finally got around the sorting out my site & wanted some opinions, it's not a high-end thing so it's quite plain & simple but that's what we're after, plus I'm doing it pretty much myself & have no skills in this area!

    www.woollycomforts.co.uk

The gallery & shop are currently missing as I still need to work on them & here's where I need the help...
I'm trying to fit a jalbum into my standard page template, ignoring the images for now (as they'll change) I can't seem to get it to work & not throw the page sizing right out?
    eg - http://www.woollycomforts.co.uk/Name%20Banners/

Also I'm trying to get a border along the top/bottom of the templates (you can see the gaps on each page) but I can't get it to go across the two sections of the page e.g the navigation section & the main body, how can I do this??

Maybe I'm missing something, but for me on FF it all looks fine?

The only thing I noticed is that on all of the pages the left menu stays static, until the information page where it drops a bit. Nothing big, but it looks a bit odd.

Yeah I'm not sure why that drops on information, I'll try to sort that out. EDIT - Fixed thanks for pointing that out

Not sure what you mean by you think you're missing something? The gaps for the border? If so then I want an image in the red areas as shown below but it throws the whole page out if I try to insert an image (using kompozer, I have no HTML skills ) I assume it's because I'm trying to insert into a table (ie one side) but I need it to ignore any borders & just fit the page width?

Can't you just insert a completely separate table one column wide and one row tall to fill the gap, then insert into that?

I don't really know enough about HTML tbh, tried a few things with the raw code but none of them worked. Not a massive surprise!

Re: Opinions wanted on my site (+ a little help!)

Personally Id change the colour of the menu item when you are on that page (Ive yet to add that feature), and have a rollover colour change b4 you switch pages.

I'd also add a copyright symbol on the bottom, its alt code 0169 ©

Otherwise, its just my style, kept simple and very fast loading. Ive just started our new site for fibromyalgia : http://www.nenevalleyfms.co.uk

see what you think, I reckon we are both at the same sort of stage
    Cheers, David

Perhaps changing the fonts, mainly the one on the menu items to match the top banner.

The top banner is lot nicer than previous website.
