I used to use Nod32 but got a bit sick of paying for my AV and feeling like I didn't need to. Now I use Avira and have never had any problems with it.

Microsoft Security Essentials & Anti Malwarebytes', seems to do the job for me!

Re: Which Anti-Virus software to use?

Personally I use Avast Antivirus - I've found it excellent in catching anything and it doesn't sit heavy in the background using very little resources. However I do feel it's missed a trick and doesn't go "Yarrr!" like a pirate when it's finished downloading new antivirus updates.

In the office we opt for ESet for quality and also it's administrator friendly setup/administration features. Nice to be able to sit on one server and update anyone and everyone on the network at the same time.

And yes, we also view Malwarebytes Anti Malware as invaluable when a user accidently clicks on something they shouldn't.
