heh heh heh. Looks like I beat you to that one!

Has anyone else experienced the levels of performance that Biztech are claiming? I certainly am not getting consistent numbers around the levels that they have published, but the numbers look to be accruate relatively speaking. (ie a gtx 295 is +5% over the GTX 480) or something like that.

What was reassuring was the measure of the GTX 295 vs the GTX 275. It is approximately twice the folding power yet it does this for only 57 extra watts. Little did I know that I'd gone for one of the most folding efficient routes...

I saw that article and was disappointed to find that they didn't include my only slightly archaic 8800GT into the mix. Going by HFM monitoring, I'm 1000 slower than the GTX 260 and 3-4000 slower than a GTX 460 (hopefully what I shall be upgrading to!). However, my 8800GT is overclocked (albeit slightly).

depends on the WU etc i think. some have claimed that gpu3 is slower on 'older' hardware, maybe reverting to gpu2 will help

My GTX 8800 used to knock out between 5k and 7k points per day, so I'd hazard you'll be in that sort of range maybe?

5455.7 is the current PPD estimate, although it can reach a touch higher if it's doing the smaller 353 credit work units. In fact, the passkey bonus for the SMP client kicked in yesterday for the first time and that sent me to the soaring heights of >10k PPD in total! Back to graphics cards, though, I shall be investing in a GTX 460 should I get the grades on August 19th to go to uni, although I'm not convinced my 425W PSU will be able to run the GTX 460 + 8800GT so a dedicated folding card might be out of my reach, unfortunately.
