for all intents it seems to be the same card minus some gays name on it and a shielded cover ? with OEM added to it - GoNz0.

Rivatuner. Whats your card? A software undervolt may work wonders.

I second rivatuner, but you'll need a last generation or older card. There is supposed to be a newer version (2.25) in the works, but it may never see the light of day. The only reason I've not upgraded my gfx card is the stupid dynamic profiles on the latest nv and ati cards. In my experience, the clock frequency has no impact on media playback and my ati 4770 will happily play 1080p while massively underclocked.
MSI afterburner will not allow you to underclock properly. It can be done if you underclock in another application first, but that defeats the purpose of using it.

its a 8200 on my zotac 930-itx motherboard.

unfortunately I doubt it has voltage control. You furball free? It might help if this is a recent probelm.
Remove the side/top panel? Unless you've got a jet engine blowing through, open air is always cooler ime.
Perhaps not an option if this is a HTPC in a living room and needs to look good as well as perform its task well.Originally Posted by sadbuttrue

There was a reason why the room was already warm, I don't exactly have the heating on in the summer.
And anything more than 3 times in one night is just decadent.
