Re: Wwin 7 system image restore. Satisfied?

I have two problems with present system.

Win7 requires a partition that is ntfs in order to do a backup. When I have it would just stop a few minutes into it. So gave up.

Acronis: absolutely awful for SATA non-raid setup or at least at v9. Images would become corrupt after a few months. Gave up.

Re: Wwin 7 system image restore. Satisfied?

i use the win7 restore image a few times now and its absolutely flawless. There is only one annoying bit is that it tries to mimic the original hard drive partition. So i am unable to create my swap drive at the start of the HD. Ohh well at least it works and free. I felt it was a rather simply process too though as mentioned before not too user customisable in terms of partitions.
