Sound through HDMI AND also PC?

I have my PC connected to my Sony TV through HDMI and the sound runs through to the TV via hdmi audio (nvidia gtx 470 driver) perfectly.
But whenever i use the TV for sound, there's no sound through my soundblaster x-fi on the PC speakers.(windows 7).

I can't see any options to enable both at the same time and I have to keep going to audio control panel to disable and enable each one every time i want to use them.

Is there a way I can have both HDMI sound to TV and my PC speakers on at the same time?

Not as far as I know - they're separate sound cards, so Windows treats them as utterly different devices.

The GTX 470 is a sound card. That's the point.

I think your grapich card should do the audio as well... it should have audio out put through the hdmi cable. check your sound properties wether your hdmi sound is enabled or not

If you have Windows 7 and only want sound from specific applications coming out of the TV then you can set it to work like that. I currently have Winamp coming out the rear sockets on my computer going to my speakers and everything else out of the front going to headphones.
