How do energy prices compare - Lithuania vs UK? I think we pay ABOUT 11-12p (sterling) for a kWh of leccy
What's the price locally? We often hear reference to "rip off Britain" but from my experience inn working in Italy, France, Portugal, Ireland and Holland, we're actually not as expensive as we're led to believe. What does stuff cost up there for energy? Likewise, how do PC components prices cost? Do you buy them locally or from Germany/France etc?

The price is around the same - 10-11p of your money/kWh, depending on the conversion rates. PC components I think are a bit more expensive, but not enough to make it worth paying for shipping from Germany, for example (just checked, a 2600K price is almost identical). Only if you want something more elaborate, e.g. water cooling - no one stocks any of those, since it's quite expensive, so the only choice is have it shipped.

On the plus side I've restarted SMp folding and am getting bonus points already which is nice. So extra 5kppd for me or so.
Well I posted >21k points in a single day yesterday which I think is a record for me!
Ooh, and looking now (I'm clever so I put a link to the full stats in my signature stats, would recommend it) I'm about to sail past my weekly record, too.

Argh! My work computer must have rebooted itself at some point towards the end of this week and I didn't restart my client
Damn it, that's over a day's folding lost: and now I've ended up stuck with a hella slow 250k unit that's only getting me 2.5kppd (according to HFM.NET, anyway). *sigh* it's all just typical really, isn't it...

I think you need an upgrade batman, may I suggest a 980X and 3 GTX580s all for folding and then whatever you like for gaming?
Don't be silly - nothing can be folded that fast!
