    Re: Folding Chit-Chat

Wonder how long it'll take 1stRaven to get to 100 million....

Well done everyone. Top effort. Great to see so much willing. Onward to 200 million now....

It'll only take 8 months at the current rate.... Suppose the next target is a top 100 place. I'm going to have to start learning how to use SQL server or MYSQL if I'm going to have to keep up doing these stats

On a different matter, does anyone know when the Hexus team first convened? The oldest link I can find in this forum is this one, but the assumption there is that this was the first.... the inference is there was a Hexus team previously. Anyone know why? How? Josh?

    Well done everyone.

My personal goal is to get into the top 200 Hexus folders! If they can iron out the OpenCL I might contribute a bit more.

    Well done guys.

This Folding lark is fun and productive.

Any idea on PPD for two 460's and the SMP client? I'm guessing around 30k.

each 460 will give 9-10k, then depends on cores for smp

When I had one GTX 460 + i5 750 I was hitting 20k and sometimes as high as 23k ppd so depending on overclock, I think 30k ppd is a very reasonable estimate.

Encouraging to see so many others volunteering their answers to the "Meet the folders" - great to see what the rest of you look like!

Not sure what to make of Nibblers "you look like Nick Frost" comment. The only Nick Frost I can think of is the devilishly-handsome-definitely-in-need-of-an-oscar actor who Simon Pegg supports.

    Thanks Nibbler! I think....

Jay - are you folding under the username "Jay_oasis"?

If so, have you registered a passkey and are you folding on the SMP client or the standard one? If you have the a socket 1366 i7 rig you should be able to knock out 10k ppd from that rig alone....

If I've got the wrong user id.... sorry!

    Re: Folding Chit-Chat

    Well found.

It's interesting to read the heritage that Hexus has in this - I can;t believe that the Hexus team is 4 years old as of 30th April! That's got to be worth dropping a line to the news team about.

A quick look shows we should be up to 110th by my reckoning. Doubt we could get top 100, which is a real shame.... need a couple more months for that.

Everyone upgraded their CPU clients yet? I've just deleted the 33% of the standard work unit to get on with the BIGADV untis again. Enough messing around with those small pussies....

I am using the SMP client but don't have a pass key.

I have created a passkey and setup my clients again, for some odd reason my i7 picked up a small job and not a big one so it was only using 1 core. Killed that off and started a new job.
