I wish this weather would go back to being crap, this heat is no good for my CPU - temps were reaching 80c (1.4v) last night under the SMP client :S
I've no thermal paste left either to see if thats the issue.
Edit: What are the X6's like under the SMP client, i would imagine quite efficient?

This weather is screwing me over so bad. I think it says it all when my GPU's run cooler under folding than my CPU O.o

Sad to say some unusually slow units (a 500k that took twice as long as usual, for instance) and some automatic updates have knocked my folding rate right down the last couple of days *sigh*
Still, I'll keep the opteron plugging away as fast as it's transistors can carry it
And you never know, now it's almost summer again I might be able to find the time and money to finish Cunning Plan...

Rob; if you're 5850 is not doing much you can get it to work on boinc. A much nicer piece of software; I only wish folding was more similar.

Is that the stock hsf on the x6? I try to keep my x6s at no more than 50/55, I dont like anything above that, oc they do pump out some heat also keep a firm eye on your power mosfets

Woah, just noticed I got 481 points for the SMP WU I completed yesterday?! What?! Completed in less than half the time I normally do but I normally got about 1.5K (no bonus yet)
Different CPU ID makes client think it's a new machine, maybe?

How long does bonus take to kick in once you've done 10 WUs?
I've done my tenth (in total, ever), got a pitiful amount for each SMP WU I've done with my new CPU though & not sure why

Just to make sure:
- You are using the SMP client
- You have a passkey
- The passkey has been entered into the SMP client and saved
- You've folded 10 WU's on the passkey and/or same machine ID (1-16, depending on which number you chose during the config)
