Folding stats are up. I've had to skip the "improvement" details and averages for April as that would have meant re-doing the whole of my stats,a nd as I'm in the process of revising the entire spreadsheet, that would be a significant portion of my weekend spent on maintaining something that's being superceded.

In other news, today my server get's the final rebuild - going to post up pictures once fininshed. Switching out the 980X for my 970 processor so that I can put the 980X on ebay. I've also got some pumbing to do in there so it'll probably be down for the duration, and re-install Windows also so that I've got a nice new clean build.

Right, why do I have points? I haven't opened a client for a few weeks, so who has suddenly been folding for me?

Some times bonus points that had been missed previously can be added in retrospectively. This may be one of those instances.

You coming back to fold for the team anytime soon?

Does anyone know a good place to store an Excel Spreadsheet online so that it can be downloaded and updated? I'm looking for something that would enable someone to continue my work (once I've finished the automation that is) should that bus catch up with me....

I've come into an Asus Crosshair 4 Formula & a 1100T for the price of £0 Whats the PPD of this on SMP compared too a i7 860?

My 1090T at 4GHz reaches 15-17k PPD.

So I'd presume 13-15k at stock.

I have no idea what the 860 can do :|

You could (almost) double that figure. Should be able to get 25-30k out of it I reckon....

I've recently got back into Borderlands and so running 24/7 isn't really possible... I'd like to try this but I'm not sure if I'll make the deadlines, and then I'd just be getting 0 points instead of ~15k.

It's a tough decision...

Also, does HFM run in wine?

As with Repressor i can't really run 24/7. Shame i don't have a spare PSU lying about, i could have both the i7 860 and 1100T crunching

google docs will do it
and yeh i'm still trying to fold, but few things are stopping me right now:

- underpowered CPU is really holding back big PPD, only dual core so pretty tame
- summer heat, uncomfortable in here at night so it goes off
- problems with graphics card recently, it pucked my monitor recently somehow (EDID corruption or something?) so trying to stop that now
- the reason i folded has now passed away, so kinda lost a bit of inspiration

Statistically, it looks that way to me looking at the numbers of folders particpating. The numbers seem to have been dropping the past 2 months whereas we were in steady growth prior to that. Temperature might have something to do with it also I hasten to add....

Okay, finally got -bigadv up and working. No idea how long one unit will take...

Apparently you can gain 35-40K PPD this way...

Yeah, i know on a ~4GHz i7 thats possible so although the PII are seen as inferior i would imagine the extra real cores should be equal or better than the threads of an i7.
