What TPF/When's the deadline/How long do you have to complete those bigbeta units? Also, you really should try folding in Fedora.. somehow it's way more efficient than folding in Windows.
Does running *nix via Sandbox have any performance hits?

Running -bigadv on 980X/970s in Fedora via vmware seems to scrape ~10% off the TPF. I don't know if you'll see similar results for other situations, but I would probably think so...
I'm still in the middle of a BIGADV unit. Once that's finished I'll switch over to the newer ones. The latest BIGADV's are taking longer to process than usual, so it looks like the maintenance that I've been threatening to do, has suddenly become more urgent as the current one won't get me any bonus points.
I can't use Fredora as it's a Windows Server and it runs MANY other things, including my media server, Virtual Machine Server...
well, my home machine is fully built up again. A few upgrades this time but the main one being a 2600k and 12tb of storage.
I think i may have some issues with heat on the graphics cards though...
I just need to now work out why I cant get it to overclock past 3.7gb without freezers and blue screens.

Which RAID card is that? Does it start to get toasty?
Its a dell perc 6/i. I fitted a 40mm fan to it to keep it cool but not really pushed the rig yet to check it. It does allow me to copy a 1gb avi file in less than 4 seconds though so decent throughput.
Have you looked at this ?
btw it seems i got 1.5k from one WU yesterday so maybe my bonus points are being added, although even then i would only be getting around 6k from a 1100T...

Hmm..very strange.. maybe the next few might be a bit better..
74k from the -bigadv.. over 2.3 days. 33K PPD!
How do you manage to get bigadv units on a hexcore? Do you have to do all that linux trickery or am I missing something?
I'll take a look tonight. I was looking at this one but wasn't getting far with blue screens all over the place.
