Fired the SMP client up this morning - still getting those odd credit units though i had a while back - 600 points for this specific WU. :/
Kalniel: "Nice review Tarinder - would it be possible to get a picture of the case when the components are installed (with the side off obviously)?"
CAT-THE-FIFTH: "The Antec 300 is a case which has an understated and clean appearance which many people like. Not everyone is into e-peen looking computers which look like a cross between the imagination of a hyperactive 10 year old and a Frog."
TKPeters: "Off to AVForum better Deal - £20+Vat for Free Shipping @ Scan"
for all intents it seems to be the same card minus some gays name on it and a shielded cover ? with OEM added to it - GoNz0.
*sigh* Just as I was getting ready to crow about finally turning in a million points up pops 1stRaven and turns almost that in a week.
I'm going back to bed

Well done.
I downloaded the month end numbers first thing so I'll work on generating the stats on Saturday.
I've had no response to my "what challenge shall I set" question so I'll come back with a selection after I've done the analysis.

My folding activities have been slightly hurt over the last month or so by my brother deciding that he was going to move into mine after an argument with my mum, so he is constantly pausing it to play games on my pc, add to that that I am playing Deus Ex right now, and that chokes when the cpu is folding so have to stop that and it slows the gpu ppd to a crawl, my output isn't as high as it has been in the past

I need to check the other server but looks like folding has crashed. I've been working 18 hour days for the since Tuesday so it won't be tonight. Will try and take a look tomorrow.
The crashed server has been restarted and the weekend ones have kicked up. should be some stuff coming through now.

Looks like you've got a rig up and running sicne your note yesterday. Overtake time is now restored to 1.2 years.
I've been remodelling my server. The Sabertooth board I won hasn't enough PCI-E slots for me to do what I want, and the CPU was running a bit too hot. I swiched out the CPU and then re-did the water loop before a moment of madness before buying a replacement board. Moment of madness? Yes - because I now believe that the reason it was runnign hot was that of the 2 pumps that I have in series, it sounds like only one of them was working. That coupled with a couple of restrictive flow points and I've not got that loop with water FLYING around it. So tomorrow I have the P8Z68 Pro board arrivign, and I'm going to be putting the Sabertooth and CPU (2600k) up for sale to fund that moment of frustration. I was considering cancelling the order, but the ability to use the CPU's inbuild GPU for running the display, leaving the GTX 295 and 8800GTX to fold away was too much of a draw to miss. That coupled with the SSD as a cache for the hard disks means I can have 300Gb worth of OS disk with increased access speed, which will prove useful when I set up my virtual machines on it.
I've found when folding that the GPU resources are so bound that the screen update is affected and it's taking too long to use the machine to do simple things like logging on to check the temps etc.
The server case is now a frankenstein-esque radiator mount, with 2 lots of 2.120's on the roof, 1 installed in the base, one via a rad box on the back and a phobya double depth 1.120m rad mounted just above the CPU socket. I've stil to plumb in the 2 on the roof yet, but hopefully this'll give me some decent temps for 24/7 folding. I've got to drill a couple of holes for tubing to get to the 2x2.120's on the roof, and I wont do that with the motherboard in there.
If nothing else, I might roll the case out into the hall and use it instead of a radiator to warm the rest of the house...
