I'm back but I'm only folding on an i3 2310m so at the minute my PPD is going to be pretty low. The current unit I'm on will take me about 2 days to complete

Remember - Every little helps. This is team hexus, not team 1stRaven, or team Tatty or whatever. We've been making great progress this year. Some people can utilise bigger kit than others, but only for a small timeframe, others will plod away at home on lower powered rigs. The points all add up, but more importantly those work units MIGHT just make a difference to medical science- who's to know, or say?

Yay - back to top of the production list! That's taken 5 days of non stop folding on 4 machines (3x2600K's plus a Core 2 Duo E8500, with their corresponding GPU's to get back)

Can;t wait for the BIGADV's to come back - I'm sure I've dropped a few thou points per day vs my potential..

I need to get pushing back up the table, Stuck the PS3 on folding for a bit but at 1000 ppd its hardly worth it for the power it consumes :/

Can you elaborate?

Which clinet are you using?

What switches are you using, and often is the machine folding?

When I look at the properties for the folding client file it is:

C:\Users\Gaming\Documents\Folding\FAH6.34-win32-SMP.exe -verbosity 9 -smp 8

where FAH6.34-win32-SMP.EXE comes from

and is the one for Windows about 2/3rds of the way down.

If that's all in order, then we'll need you to look at the CPU loading, and the log files.

I've had to disable -bigadv from the list of switches as there don;t appear to be any of those type of units to download, which was causing me to have my rigs sat idle while it tried repeatedly to download files that weren't there....

I think it's time I upgraded my Wife's rig to the P6T/i7 950 rig instead of an Core 2 duo E8500.

There's nothing wrong with my step up at the minute. It's just I'm at uni and have only got my laptop with me which only has an i3, compared to my desktop at home which happens to be an i7. So when I say I'm back it means I can't output as much points as I was able to before.

My PPD is picking up nicely. 3x2600K rigs folding and I'm showing 120K points in the past 24 hours. Not bad for SMP only folding....

1stRaven - You going to fire up those servers again? Down to less than 10m gap....

I have will soon have 5 24 core servers turning up in a month time so i'm not worried just yet
