maybe it goes through a single loop then stops at the end? Is there an option to loop images?

I use the Windows Pretentious Cobblers Theme, transparency and all
I went through the Landscapes slideshow back when Windows 7 first came out. After that, moved back to APOD and Digital Blashemy. For the past few months it's been two, stitched Fallout 3 wallpapers - after a hundred hours of enjoyable escapism, I'm quite happy having something to remind me of it, it's the next best thing to playing it again.
Dual screens give me plenty of real estate to play with and, yes, I missed Vista's Sidebar feature; it helped keep my gadgets organised and in one place. Why Microsoft neglected to include it with Windows 7, I've no idea. Currently, I'm using 7 Sidebar as a substitute and it's working out pretty well. I've posted before which gadgets I use.
While that lot's not to everyone's tastes, it's what I'm happy with. It's all a damned site better than it was with XP, even with something like Royale. I still cringe when I have to use a PC with the default XP options enabled.
Anyway, phones are getting smarter and allowing much more customisation, set-top boxes and gaming consoles are there too with their brighter and more colourful/personal UIs, it's here already for those with HTPCs; I guess most would prefer something visually pleasing there too. Those of you who prefer your Classic styles, I've never quite understood; why so plain, aren't you bored of it yet or do you always use your applications maximised and so never see it? Ever since my Amiga days, I've always personalised my computers. I don't find that classic styling (plain background, simple buttons) aesthetically pleasing and when I'm not coding or gaming, I'm in browser windows, or email and RSS, etc, I don't need those to be maximised; most sites I visit are width restricted, just wide enough for their advertisers, I need the height there.
Each to their own I guess eh, including Saracen Although I did do a double take when I spotted the rounded corners
I want my Total Recall wall-sized display just so I can customise the hell out of it, with Minority Report gestures too.* Pinch-zoom game, movie/VOD and work windows, pad/keyboard or voice for text entry. Can't be that far away now, I mean, you could do it homebrew style now with money and effort. I'd need a Hexus.competitions win though! Having said that, I'm curious as to how efficient that lot would be for content creation? Art and graphics would be fine, painting as an ideal example, writing would be fine too. I can't imagine coding like that though; loosing that almost glued-to-the-screen like posture I adopt when in the flow coding away. Healthier perhaps. How much are we looking at, cost wise?
* Speaking of which, I wonder what camera placement would be like on a captive display that large. You'd want the receiver almost hidden so as not to get in the way. Corner of the room, floor or ceiling I suppose.
Sorry this has gone waaayy OT. Really ought to stop smoking
Amen to that^^
Who actually likes beige/grey! Transparency looks nicer imo :>
because I have 2 monitors I have a picture of 2 cartoon sheep. a white one on the left and a black on on the right.
The white sheep looks all innocent and might be a bit slow. The black on on the other hand looks evil and has a shifty look about him. I fear for the white sheep when I have things covering them up.
I been using the usual Aero Glass Effect theme and running an animated dying planet as my desktop, Looks nice and runs very smoothly.
