Just found these instructions for running GPU3 on Linux via Wine. And I just got it working on Fedora 14 Beta. http://linuxfah.info/index.php?title...edora13_x86-64

very good news. Hexus folding team seems to be coming out of the recession!
Through Wine means it's virtual?
Yeah, W.I.N.E - WINE Is Not an Emulator - more like a compatibility layer.
Well just finished a project 10111 unit in about 1 hour 45 mins. If I understand right it's 494 points, so that's not bad. If anyone else is going to try this, I strongly suggest turning off any 3D desktop effects and don't go to a web page with Flash on it - the plugin and FAH GPU don't share resources well so you get 30+ second system freezes :
Also, install the i686 version of xorg-x11-drv-nvidia-libs as well as the x86-64 version. Seems to make Wine happier with accessing 3D graphics cards.
More testing to do on this tomorrow but it's looking good.

Nice one. If I had the time I'd love to set up my server on Linux, and this could just be the ticket to persuade me to have a look again.
How does that PPD compare vs native Windows folding?
