How to get hold of a Vista OEM disc?

I have been given a laptop with a (legal) Vista licence sticker on (OEM from Dixons Store Group - it's an Advent laptop).
The laptop was given to me with a version of Vista on it for test purposes (a Dell image) however clearly isnt activated, and in the next few days will stop working etc.

I need to wipe the drive, and re-install, however have never personally owned Vista, hence dont have a disc.

Is there a proper & legal way for me to do this? As I see it, i dont need to pay for Vista.

Contact the OEM and ask for the recovery media. It won't be free, but will be cheaper than a new Windows license.

    This may work; http://neosmart.net/blog/2008/window...disc-download/

Free anyway so worth a shot. Another option(assuming it's the same vista version on the license as installed) is phone activation.

Finally a full retail disc, contains all versions of vista, so if you can borrow one that should work.
