CCTV Software

Not quite sure where to post this so will pop it here!

I recently bought a CCTV camera. It's an IP camera so can view live footage by connecting to it via IP. I've currently got it uploading the footage to an FTP server (takes a snapshot every second). However I'm wondering if there is any (preferably free) software that will manage these images with a timestamp? and possibly produce a video out of the images...

I've used dorgem in the past, you can time stamp the pictures and upload them via ftp as well.

Says it's discontinued? Even then the screenshots look like they capture a local device connected to the computer. Where as at the moment to view a live stream you connect to the camera via IP (has a built in web server). Or you can upload snapshots to an FTP server (what I'm doing). However I need something that will take those snapshots and make them into a video / add time stamps.... or capture the video directly..

What you're looking for is DVR software (same stuff used to record TV programs really), a quick Google search gives up http://download.cnet.com/LuxRiot-DVR...-10304263.html for example.

I think LuxRiot DVR 1.7.5 software shared by Lucio would be right for you.
You should try it once.
