Re: Just ordered something to spice up my life

They're OPENMMGPU WUs worth 1298 points and are taking about 3 and a half minutes per frame. And yep, -advmethods is running :/

EDIT: tinkered with it, now it's getting stuck on starting GUI server..
EDIT 2: fixed itself, but still a 1298er.

Re: Just ordered something to spice up my life

I've been hit with a spate of Peptide ones at the minute at around 3 hours each. Rather them than the 18 hour WU's that change half way through :/
Kalniel: "Nice review Tarinder - would it be possible to get a picture of the case when the components are installed (with the side off obviously)?"
CAT-THE-FIFTH: "The Antec 300 is a case which has an understated and clean appearance which many people like. Not everyone is into e-peen looking computers which look like a cross between the imagination of a hyperactive 10 year old and a Frog."
TKPeters: "Off to AVForum better Deal - £20+Vat for Free Shipping @ Scan"
for all intents it seems to be the same card minus some gays name on it and a shielded cover ? with OEM added to it - GoNz0.

Very odd, I am getting those 1298 point wu's and getting close to 12kppd right now and 1:30 per frame, the exact project I am on right now is:

Jesus! "Today, 05:15 AM". You sh1t the bed or something!

Wonder if this is the same issue that I've been having. I'm only getting 2/3rds of the production rate that I theoretically should be getting since these OPENMM units. I've stopped that rig folding at the moment as it's going to be rebuilt soon...

That happened to me yesterday - a quick refresh put the PPD back down to normal! 9.1k for those units for me at the moment.

Slightly off topic... is the GTX460 a huge improvement on my current card with regard to gaming and media? (see my sig)

Yes, but if you don't have any allegiance to Nvidia you would be better off getting a 6850. The joker in the pack is the current cheap prices of the GTX 470's.

Stayed at that level until I left at about 6:30, refreshed it a few times as well.
