Has anyone else noticed that it has been crashing a LOT more with recent versions?
Seems if im on anything which is using flash plug in i have to refresh the page a lot... rather frustrating
Its the same on windows and mac for me!
not seen any issues here, even on heavy flash pages.
Oh, could be, using Opera 11.00 on W7.
It's the most stable initial release of a major version I've ever seen from Opera, usually they are followed by a .01 release pretty quickly.
Although I have just checked and there is a 11.01 snapshot on their blog with a bunch of crash fixes, which is good to know, but not seen any personally.

It might well be Firefox. I've been using the FF 4 beta for a while, and it gave me astonishing amount of Flash plugin crashes until the latest build. No problems with Chrome or IE on the same pages, so it's a fair assumption.
Didn't they add GPU acceleration to flash content recently? I bet that's causing some of the recent problems.
I have seen plenty of complaints about the stability of most recent 'stable' Flash release, 10.1.102.64, but only the plugin for alternative browsers and not IE... though that's probably due to most people using Firefox, Chrome or Opera on the forums I frequent.
Edit: while Flash (awful as it is) has generally been perfectly stable on Firefox for me for the past few year or two, this release has given me a few crashes now and then, but not to an extent that it becomes annoying, with session recovery on any decent browser these days.
