Hi
Im trying to help elderly neigbours with an email problem. They have been with Orange for years, right back to the Wanadoo/FSnet etc era.
I set them up up with a yahoo.co.uk address as their fsnet address was unreliable and they wanted one they could keep should they leave Orange.
The problem is that when using Outlook, the yahoo mail can not be sent. Incoming is OK most of the time. I googled it and there were several other people with similar issues, none of the solutions worked for me such as changing the smtp server addresses and numbers/ssl and so on.
I tried their yahoo account settings via outlook on my PC at home and all was fine so its is definitely something to do with orange.
I can POP3 their fsnet stuff fine with Outlook, just not any yahoo/live etc addreses.
Any advice?
Thanks
Claire.
