    no sure if this has been posted or not, a quick search proved fruitless though..

    I needed to get WfpAdmin to take out XP's file protection for a bit - kept restoring explorer.exe all the time - check it out here

    a housemate did that to win98 boxes back when we were at school. no WFP back then

    hehe something similar was done at our school too, using norton commanders hex jobby,

    I done that in win98 before using a really crappy hex editor which happened to be annoyingly dos based..

    How would I replace explorer.exe for win2k? preferably without having to restart in cmd prompt/recovery console thingy to rename files...
