    ie8 settings problem

ok, so something is set wrong on my home PC - I can't get the "thanks" button on the forum to work - it clicks and disappears as if it's worked but doesn't actually thank the poster. A refresh of the page reveals thanks hasn't been given and the button to do so reappears. Fairly sure the problem lies with my computer as it works fine on my work PC (XP and ie7).

Any suggestions what setting might be causing this?

    Re: ie8 settings problem

just for anyone who's interested - which i presume is none of you given the stellar response this post got, but hey there might be someone - it was my AV/IS package blocking the action, not ie8. (Turns out I'm running ie8 at work too). Added the forums.hexus.net/post_thanks.php to a whitelist in the banner-ad menu and now all is fine and dandy.

Kaspersky 2010 - so not the current version. Only problem I've had with its default settings so far though. I'd be more impressed if it had an ad blocker that dealt with embedded flash ads like this one http://forums.hexus.net/general-disc...comedy-ad.html which is really beginning to get on my wick
