    Here's something that might work for you as it worked for me! When your activating windows 7 for the second time with different hardware, do it via the phone.

    You have to enter a long code that appears when activating and then you type in another long code that is given to you over the phone.

    The whole process is automated and it worked for me after I changed my motherboard and processor!

    Thanks guys. Im pretty sure that when I buy new parts I'll buy the upgrade edition and do a clean install from that. Now just to save up some cash and see if bulldozer is worth the money or I go sandybridge.

    id reccomend software4students aswell i bought w7 pro and at £40 its a steal
