    Hexus doesn't remember me...

I had this problem with FireFox and assumed it was something to do with the browser, but then I had the same problem with Opera and now with Chrome.

I tick the "remember me" option, but it doesn't remember me. If I get Chrome to remember my login credentials for Hexus, the password is filled out in the password field, but the username field is blank. If I just type my username in hit enter it'll log me in.

I don't have this problem for any other site.

Is this a Hexus problem, or my browser? Does anyone else have this problem?

    Nope.

I used to get it with Arora (browser based on the webkit rendering engine), but they fixed that when they went to version 0.8ish. Currently works fine for me in Chromium 11.somehing, Firefox 4 and Arora 0.11.

Got any multi-browser plugin thingies on the go (like third party ad-blockers or the like)?

My best guess is either something internet-security wise causing issues, or are you possibly running your browsers in "private browsing" mode?

I use ad blockers, but this happens even if they are disabled.

No internet security software installed, just AV. Happens in most browsers on multiple computers. Not using private browsing mode.

    Re: Hexus doesn't remember me...

Just confirmed it doesn't remember me on IE either, version 7 if it makes any difference, no addons, no ad blockers, no nothing, just Symantec AV (work PC).

    Re: Hexus doesn't remember me...

Who are you? I don't remember you.... Just a little joke there....

It gets remembered ok for me, so I guess it's some sort of OS based restriction/policy. Works PC or your home one?

A quick check, but does this remember you if you log in, confirm that you are logged in, then navigate to another page on a different site, then navigate back?

Also, can you confirm that you are ticking remember me on the forum log in not the My Hexus on the front page (where the trust ratings are stored and that you're not getting them confused)

They are two parts of the same site. The one on the front page is not the log in for your account in the forums.

Happens on both work (Windows XP) and home (Windows 7) machines. Have tried Firefox, Chrome and Opera at home and all of these plus IE at work.

Yup, it remembers me doing that.

It's the forum page only, I rarely use other parts of the Hexus website except reading news updates on the main page.
