    Cutting Up MP3s

    Hi guys,

Was just wondering if anyone knew of a good piece of (free!) software to cut MP3s into smaller segments, i.e get rid of the silences before secret tracks etc.

    Cheers,

    Pickers

    mp3DirectCut - http://www.rz.uni-frankfurt.de/~pesch/
(does a good job although its not got the most intuitive GUI)

Some other alternatives are listed here - http://www.audiotoolsdirect.com/

    cheers,

I would use one of these (in order of preference) -

    Nero Wave Editor
    Sonic Foundry Acid Pro
    Steinberg Wavelab.
