Games for Windows Live crashing - any idea?

Right so I installed GTA IV awhile back, and ever since GFWL Marketplace crashes as soon as it starts. I have Silverlight/.net 4.0/essentials installed, I've tried reinstalling the client and .net, but everytime I get the same error:

    Description:
    Stopped working

    Problem signature:
    Problem Event Name: CLR20r3
    Problem Signature 01: gfwlclient.exe
    Problem Signature 02: 1.0.0.0
    Problem Signature 03: 4d93c2a6
    Problem Signature 04: XLiveServices
    Problem Signature 05: 1.0.0.0
    Problem Signature 06: 4d93c2a5
    Problem Signature 07: 453
    Problem Signature 08: 37
    Problem Signature 09: System.UnauthorizedAccess
    OS Version: 6.1.7600.2.0.0.768.3
    Locale ID: 1033

I also have windows 7, not sure if its just flat out not supported or what. I found this forum when I was googling for answers and figure I'd ask before I just reinstall my OS all together |:

Try running Updates from Control Panel and see if it finds anything.
Kalniel: "Nice review Tarinder - would it be possible to get a picture of the case when the components are installed (with the side off obviously)?"
CAT-THE-FIFTH: "The Antec 300 is a case which has an understated and clean appearance which many people like. Not everyone is into e-peen looking computers which look like a cross between the imagination of a hyperactive 10 year old and a Frog."
TKPeters: "Off to AVForum better Deal - £20+Vat for Free Shipping @ Scan"
for all intents it seems to be the same card minus some gays name on it and a shielded cover ? with OEM added to it - GoNz0.

I've tried that, no updates are found.

Oh, the joys of GFWL! All I can suggest is un-installing, attempting to remove any remaining files manually (be warned this might b0rk your game saves though - I found this out the hard way), then reinstall. Also try with antivirus disabled.

I had problems with GFWL after transfering data between hard drives. Drove me nuts. I sorted it out in the end, some how.

Oddly enough, making another user account on my computer to run it on fixed it.
