    Lotus notes was popular because of it's security in the days when Exchange was a security riddled heap of donkey poo (why are donkeys getting all the blame? oh well).

    I've even seen a Lotus Notes server used as a firewall/radius server and it worked well.

    for all users who struggle with Note.... epecially when it crashes and demands a full reboot of the laptop, including all the inhouse network links etc... ie a 5 minute downtime when you just DONT need it...

    and keep it on your desktop.
